Okay - haven't spent enough time paying attention to this site - but it is time for an update. I have completed my Hard-R screenplay and went back and re-wrote my other screenplay: Ten Day Free Trial. That script is a 4 star selection on Trigger Street Labs as of today. It is also on Inktip. The logline has had around 12 hits, but the synopsis has had one individual view it - albeit twice.
I am attending the Inktip pitch summit on the 20/21st of this month - taking my High-Concept R-Rated comedy (Female Leads) with me...
Here is the log line: "An uptight, but broke Broadway producer is assigned an obscene
musical, so she summons the return of her lewd and crude childhood guide to
help her cope."
I think I will actually try to keep up with this after the summit as it will be a place I can be found.
Hopefully someone will come looking for me.
LOL - my script on Triggerstreet was "reviewed" by a character who also has a RomCom on the site. I never really believed the grumblings about how some members look to torpedo others in order to raise their own work - but now I wonder. When someone states unequivocally that something must be re-written because he "doesn't get it" where others have clearly "gotten it" - you have to consider the source. Review on the site can certainly have a negative bent, but it is usually based on the reviewers impressions as opposed to something that simply "needs to be done because I say so."
My suggestion is not to step over and on people you meet on your journey - you might come across them again on the road - and writers are like elephants - we remember.
If you want changes like that - you'll need to option the script!
